In 2003 the Cultural Association "Il Grifo e il Leone" started the restoration and the conversion of a 400 square meter antique basement of the sixteenth century structure of the Ex- Conservatory of San Girolamo, located in the heart of the historical centre of Montepulciano, Siena province (Italy). ilCAntinonearte Teatri, a non conventional theatre and exhibition space, created out of the restored building, opened officially to the public in January 2005. IlCAntinonearte Teatri is a cultural project promoting training, creation,experimentation and production of theatre, dance, music, visual arts works, with a particular attention to contemporary arts and to the creativity of the younger generation.
Born in Rome in 1958. During Universty, Claudio Borgoni has collaborated with a group of cinema research for the making of a series of short films and documentaries. He has actively and directly partecipated to all the production specific phases. In the same period Claudio Borgoni worked at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Experimental Cinematography Centre) , in Cinecittà, as research fellow in charge of the realisation of an Analityc Index for the "Bianco e Nero" (Black and White) review.
